At the age of 87 comedian Lynn Ruth Miller is set to record her first BBC Radio 4 stand-up special! Entitled Not Dead Yet, the comic’s special won’t be about “getting old, but about staying young.”
Born in Toledo, Ohio in 1933 during the great depression, Miller lived through the Second World War, 15 presidents, two failed marriages and, for a while, lived in a van a la Nomadland, before trying her hand at comedy aged 70.
The comedian says: “I am 87 years old and every morning something magic happens to me: I wake up.”
The Radio 4 show will be recorded in front of a virtual Zoom audience on Friday 2nd July. Apply for tickets here!
