The Latitude Festival comedy line up has been announced and this year it’s fantastic, packed with some of our favourite funny women. Now in its 12th year, Latitude Festival once again sets the bar high for summer festivals with the largest comedy line up in the UK, offering festival goers an unrivalled opportunity to see the world’s most globally acclaimed comedians, alongside emerging talent and innovative newcomers.

Latitude’s curator of the arts, Tania Harrison says: “Latitude prides itself in showcasing the very best artists, both emerging and established, and in the Comedy bill you’ll find newcomers, rising stars and international acts. I’m delighted to announce Dara Ó Briain, Katherine Ryan and Simon Amstell as our first Comedy headliners, and they’re joined on the bill by an incredible line up of comics. We’re also hosting playful, provocative performances from Soho Theatre and Cabaret stars including Duckie, Jonny Woo & The Glory, and Desmond O’Connor’s Vive La Resistance, waving the revolutionary flag for the 50th anniversary of a landmark year for LGBT rights.”

Panel show favourite and 2008 Funny Women Awards winner Katherine Ryan will set out to entertain the Latitude audience with her razor sharp pop culture critique. You can’t miss Katherine this year, with her recently released stand up show In Trouble streaming on Netflix, Channel 4 show How’d You Get So Rich, Your Face or Mine co-hosting gig on Comedy Central and her BBC two Fake News pilot.

Our favourite lawyer turned comedian Susan Calman will also be making an appearance, fresh from her tour The Calman Before the Storm with her bubbly manner and caustic edge that make her a BBC Radio 4 comedian of choice. Award winning comedian Suzi Ruffell will also be at the festival, entertaining audiences with tales of social ineptitude. Austentatious cast member Rachel Parris will be cracking out some musical comedy.

Also joining this fabulous line up will be Lolly Adefope, Kiri Prtichard-McLean, Sophie Willan, 2014 Funny Women Awards runner up Lauren Pattison, Rose Matafeo, 2014 Funny Women Awards winner Jayde Adams, the brilliantly dark Norris & Parker, Sarah Bennetto, Maddy Anholt, Katie Mulgrew, Twayna Mayne, Flo & Joan, Abigoliah Schamaun, Liz Miele, 2015 Funny Women Awards runner up Sarah Keyworth, Kelly Convey, Daisy Earl, Tessa Coates and more!

Latitude Festival takes place on 13th – 16th July in the grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk. Tickets are available here!
