Award-winning comedian and Funny Women’s ‘Matron’ Jo Brand will join Jeff Innocent, Josephine Lacey, Ahir Shah and other leading comedians at Top Secret Comedy Club, to Stand Up for The Comedy School, its annual benefit on 12th May. The evening will raise vital funds for its Wellbeing Project.

Founded in 1998, The Comedy School is a unique organisation which uses the power of comedy to run training and education projects in schools, prisons, rehabilitation centres and mental health institutions. It addresses serious social issues, whilst also offering opportunities for personal development, guiding young people excluded from the education system, nurturing the talents of comedy enthusiasts and training aspiring professionals in the comedy field.
Founder Keith Palmer MBE and his team strive to stimulate personal creativity and develop social skills and have positively touched the lives of numerous people over the past 28 years.
