We didn’t think Katherine Ryan could pack any more into her 2017 schedule but it’s been announced that the 2008 Funny Women Awards winner will be co-hosting Comedy Central’s revival of Your Face or Mine alongside original host Jimmy Carr.

After a decade long absence, the game in which couples compare their looks with other people is returning. Katherine said: “Jimmy Carr and I have a shared understanding that you’ve got to be cruel to be kind. I am elated to be joining Jimmy on Your Face Or Mine for Comedy Central. They were wise to bring on one of the country’s humblest and most stunning women to guide couples in judging each other’s looks.”

Comedy Central’s Louise Holmes said: “I have been a massive fan of Katherine’s for years and I am absolutely delighted she is joining the Comedy Central team to co-host the revival of Your Face or Mine.

“Katherine’s razor sharp wit alongside Jimmy’s impeccable comedic timing make them the perfect presenting duo for a game that will test even the nation’s strongest couples.”

Katherine will also be starring in a Netflix special of her new stand up show Trouble, hosting a new Channel 4 series How’d You Get So Rich and a BBC Two pilot called That Thing on Friday Night.

Your Face or Mine will be aired in the Spring.
