Saskia Preston describes her start in comedy:
"Exactly two years today I thought, you know what, ‘I should really try doing stand up comedy, this gig is not going well’.
"At this point I was doing the odd show here and there but totally failing to make what was in my head accessible. It was like trying to serve dinner from an eight foot tall table to people sitting on normal chairs, it was like giving someone francs in 2013, it was like similes, similes, similes. Rubbish, basically.
"Some people (HATTTERRZZZZ) might think it’s still rubbish but I’m enjoying what I’m doing now and things like this, getting to the final of this year's Funny Women Awards, well, that’s nice."
