Alice says her parents knew off the bat that she wasn’t bound to be the next Albert Einstein, when she asked, “Mommy, does the hen also have to go to the hospital, when it lays its egg?” She was then twelve.
Alice realized that she belonged on stage as she noticed that people more readily listened to her when she was standing in the spotlight holding a microphone in her hand. At the age of nine she, her sister, and some friends shot short films, including music videos and commercials. They didn’t become famous shooting them, but they were definitely funny. (She says.)
Alice studied Business and Economics at the University of Vienna because apart from drama and acting school, she wanted to dedicate herself to something entirely different, a counterweight, which kept her firmly grounded, and the exams at the Business University fulfilled this requirement almost too perfectly. But, she says, she really learned a lot about putting her acting skills to the test in the interpretation of standardized tests.
