Our not-so-bitchy friends over at Bitch-Online magazine are holding an exciting event in association with the BBC on Wednesday 16th May.

The creators of the magazine –  Sandra Donskyte and Teresa Geer – have entered a contest to take part in a new TV show called ‘Be Your Own Boss’ produced by the founder of Innocent drinks, Richard Reed.

Bitch, is an online magazine aimed at ambitious entrepreneurs, career focused businesswomen and the aspiring ones. It describes itself as a digital platform for content with substance, that entertains and introduces the well known and yet to be discovered business stars; their behind the scenes issues, successes and inspirations. Every month Bitch introduces a new issue that is important and current to its ambitious readership.

For the first round the Bitch team have been given the task of making as much profit on 100GBP provided by the show as possible, so they have decided to create an exciting event to launch their very own ‘Bitch Cocktail’.

Funny Women is only too happy to help the drinks go down and provide a few laughs.  We’ve asked a couple of our very favourite female comedy acts to be on hand to  entertain.

Clare Lomas is a beautifully funny songstress who made it to the ifnals of our very own Funny Women Awards in 2010 and the final of the Musical Comedy Awards earlier this year.

Lara A King is the current main title holder of the Funny Women Awards and by her own admission is a ‘People Pleaser’.  Catch her before she’s filling stadiums!  Honest!

Where:  Apres Bar, 31 Duke Street, nr Bond Street, London W1V 1LG
