We're always delighted to welcome new opportunities for women to perform comedy and it's great to see What the Frock!, a new female comedy night being launched in Bristol by Jane Duffus.

The show will take place during the 8th annual Bristol Festival of Ideas, and will be hosted by Kate Smurthwaite, a brilliant and well-established comic who is sure to please the good folks of Bristol! Other performers include Tiffany Stevenson, as seen on TV's Show Me the Funny, Dana Alexander and Zahra Barri.

As with all Funny Women shows, absolutely everybody is welcome in the audience, men and women.

There will also be a raffle with some choice goodies up for grabs – including signed merchandise from comedian Stewart Lee, Thick Of It writer Ian Martin, plus books from funny woman Tina Fey, as well as tickets to local theatre and cinema venues, and some Funny Women goodies from us, of course!  Profits made will be donated to Bristol women’s charity, One25.

Tickets are available direct from the venue, Arnolfini (£10, or £8 concessions), by visiting the Arnolfini in person, ringing them on 0117 917 2300, or click HERE
