Here at Funny Women HQ we are delighted to announce that our Brighton charity partner RISE is an official local charity of this year's Brighton Marathon (April 15th) and Half Marathon (February 19th).

We regularly support RISE at our Brighton Nights Showcases, the next of which is coming up on Saturday 10th March, to celebrate International Women's Day. You can read about this show HERE and book early as we regularly sell out.

RISE does fantastic work to support local women, families, young people and children who are victims of domestic violence. So, if you are a runner (or would like to become a runner), this is your chance to get involved.

The Brighton Half Marathon is now sold out but Rise have a limited number of places available. To run the Half Marathon, RISE asks for a £20 registration fee and a pledge to raise a minimum of £120 sponsorship money. There are also a few places available for the Brighton Marathon.

Or if running’s not your thing, you may wish to show your support by making a donation and cheering on the runners on the day! Rise are also seeking volunteers to help out on the day.

If you would like to run or volunteer please contact fundraising@riseuk.org.uk

You can make a donation to Rise HERE.
