Brotherly Love

I've had a lovely busy few days. My brother came to visit me in the 'big smoke' so spent a couple days preparing the flat, making it all clean and tidying and stocking up the fridge. We had a great time at the theatre watching 'Love Never Dies', the sequel to Phantom (is it wrong to find the Phantom incredibly sexy…….?) Very emotional….we had to go home and watch some comedy to recover!

Friday was the night we had been waiting six months for: Jerry Seinfeld Live at the O2 Arena…for one night only! I had bought the tickets for his Christmas pressie and there were high expectations of the international superstar comedian from the crowd of 16,000…he did not dissapoint. The warm up support slot George Wallace was very funny too, especially his query as to why the Queen carries her handbag around Buckingham Palace if she lives there. Very slick, funny, clever observations on life and had an amazing stage presence. We even spotted a few celebs in audience (Matt Lucas two seats in front, Sanjeev from the Kumars, Richard Bacon and some bloke from Les Mis my theatre buff bro was excited about!)

After nearly two hours, the Legendary Mr. Seinfeld was thanking us for having him and left to rapturous applause and cheers. Reviews were on internet just two hours later….4 stars and 5 stars and each echoing something that Jerry himself had said to us 'We went to see Seinfeld tonight, our lives don't suck!
