James Burns

1) Full name: AINE GALLAGHER

2) Hometown: Dublin

3) What/who is your comedy inspiration?

David O'Doherty – he can make the simplest of things absolutely hilarious, he is a total genius. My cousin Leonor, aka 'Zocorro', for her unique and bizarre style. Sarah Millican – no reason required. Anyone who has something individual, creative and brave about their comedy.

4) How long have you been performing comedy?

I began in 2011 and have really stepped up a gear over the past year. Up to 2013, I had done very little.

5) How does it feel to be in the Funny Women Awards Final?

I can't believe it. I don't think it has really sunk in yet. I saw the opportunity as an experience to challenge and push myself forward and can't believe that it is going to end with a performance in Leicester Square Theatre. I am really really excited!
