Funny Women Awards finalist and host of the 2025 Finals, Amy Gledhill, has long been a standout voice in the comedy world, and seeing her continue to rise is exactly why we do what we do at Funny Women.

As an alumna of the Funny Women Awards, Amy embodies the spirit of bold humour that we champion, and her latest appearance on series 2 of Amazon’s Last One Laughing feels like something we should be celebrating.

From the very beginning, Amy brought something special to our stage. Her charm, storytelling and comedic voice made her one to watch, and it’s been a joy to witness her journey since. Since making it to the finals of the 2012 Funny Women Awards, she has gone on to achieve major success, including winning Best Show at the 2024 Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

Her inclusion in Last One Laughing is not only a testament to her talent but also to her versatility as a performer. The show’s ground-breaking format, where comedians must make others laugh while keeping a straight face themselves, demands quick thinking, creativity and impeccable timing.

Amy represents what’s possible when talent is nurtured and given room to grow. We’ll be cheering her on every step of the way—and laughing, of course.

You can catch up on the series so far over on Amazon Prime, new episodes every Thursday!

You can follow all of Amy’s adventure by following her on social media here.
