JENNY ECLAIR: WORK IN PROGRESS SHOW
Mon 28 October @ 6:30 PM, The Bill Murray, London
Comedy legend Jenny Eclair, who incidentally was the first ever woman to win the Edinburgh (then Perrier) comedy award, so a regular god amongst women for us at Funny Women, is performing a work in progress show at The Bill Murray this month. Eclair’s show mixes punk poetry with animal impressions and some nursery rhymes thrown in for good measure. Intrigued? You’d be a fool to miss.

EMMA SIDI: EMMA SIDI IS SUE GRAY
Mon 28 Oct @ 9:30 PM, Soho Theatre, London
Character comedy extraordinaire Emma Sidi (as seen on Ghosts, Stath Lets Flats and Starstruck) brings her newest (and 4th, if anyone’s counting) character comedy hour to Soho Theatre this month, where she plays Sue Gray. With claim-to-fame anecdotes about Blair, outrageously flirty office email back-and-forths, and some truly fantastic* Spanish, this show is a brilliant addition to Sidi’s colourful character list.
*Fantastic by my standards as a non Spanish speaker.
