The registration for the Next Up Stage Award, Comedy Writing Award sponsored by Sky Studios and Comedy Shorts Award supported by LSFF closed for 2022.
Due to high entrant numbers, we have had a look and revised our dates and timelines. Put it this way, a 10 page script takes approximately 16-18 mins to read and there are hundreds of entires. Every 5 min entry for the stage award is viewed by at least 2 judges and there are over 400, quick maths equals about 67 hours of jokes!
We want to make things fair and equitably for everyone across the 3 categories, so we are adjusting the time lines as follows.
