Funny Women

As 2021 draws to an end, Funny Women has created a survey to gauge who our audience is and what they want to see from us. Over the past two years, Funny Women has adapted and grown significantly. The move to online events in response to the pandemic means our audience has become wider than ever, and we want to get to know you all!

People from all over the world have engaged with our content, events, and Awards, such as 2021 Funny Women Stage Awards winner and Amsterdam resident Lara Ricote. Through the debut of the Content Creator Award and our inaugural winner Hayley Morris, we are also recognising the emerging world of social media comedy, broadening our online audience.

Funny Women’s founder, Lynne Parker says: “As we head into our 20th year, it is important for us to find out as much as possible about who our community serves. So much has changed since I first created Funny Women and launched the Awards so this research will help us to understand who you are and what more we can do to support you. I believe that humour and comedy are the background hum of our everyday lives right now, particularly given the restrictions of the last two years. Our aim is to empower you to use this professionally and personally to lead fulfilling and creative lives.”

The survey is in two parts. The first part is feedback on what we do, while the second part addresses diversity. The goal is to use the data collected to tailor ourselves to our audience’s needs and measure our progress in becoming more inclusive.

To complete the survey you’ll need approximately five minutes and at the end you can enter into our prize draw to win one of 10 £20 gift cards as a thank you for participating and helping us shape 2022 to be our biggest and best year yet!
