Audible, a leading provider of spoken word entertainment, today launches series two of the smash-hit podcast, French & Saunders: Titting About.
The award-winning comedy double act has reunited to take on six more important subjects and – quite literally – tit about with them.
From childhood experiences with gerbils, drunkenly getting matching tattoos on-tour to breakfast vodka in St. Petersburg, Dawn and Jennifer leave no stone unturned in this humorous quest to entertain, inform and properly tit about.
In the final episode, we hear from the acclaimed duo on their love of sitcom and passion for comedy as they read through original ideas from never-before-seen sketches, and brainstorm a new sitcom they could star in; which mainly involves them wearing comfortable trousers.
French & Saunders: Titting About is an excellent showcase of the quick-witted comedic minds of the Bafta and British Comedy Award-winning double act, welcoming you into the mischievous friendship that has flourished since they began creating comedy together as undergraduate students at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Dawn French said: “I thought it would be mad to do a second series of Titting About… but then we were promised limitless sticky buns, frothy coffees and attractive litigation lawyers… so it seemed borderline churlish not to.”
Jennifer Saunders said: “After a combined 120+ years of titting about on this planet, it’s only fitting that we have more than one series to talk about what we do best”.
Episode Breakdown:
- Episode 1: Pets – From childhood experiences with gerbils to a calamitous trip to one of Elton John’s fancy dress parties, Dawn and Jennifer explore the fascinating world of pets.
- Episode 2: Bucket lists – Dawn and Jennifer explore far-ranging passions like snogging Idris Elba, and the not so glamorous reality of swimming with dolphins, as the pair discuss ‘bucket lists’
- Episode 3: Eating Out – From buffet etiquette and pretentious menus to the wonders of breakfast vodka in St. Petersburg, Dawn and Jennifer celebrate the joy of eating out and stuffing your face
- Episode 4: Life on the Road – Dawn and Jennifer share their outrageous tour bus shenanigans, the hilarious demands of celebrities on tour and matching tattoos
- Episode 5: Bewildered – Dawn and Jennifer ask the big questions. Is Dawn’s mobile phone listening to her? Are computer games taking over Jennifer’s life? And how much pubic hair is acceptable to have on show these days?
- Episode 6: If We Were Still Funny – To finish, Dawn and Jennifer discuss their love of sitcom. They read through original ideas for never-before-seen sketches and brainstorm a new sitcom they could star in; a sitcom which mainly involves them wearing comfortable trousers.
