It’s been four years since the first series, but Isy Suttie’s podcast The Things We Do For Love is finally back for a long-awaited second series.
Guests such as Jo Brand, Jessica Fostekew, Sian Harries, Margaret Cabourn-Smith and Bridget Christie will discuss their romantic pasts with Suttie, who cites “childbirth, book deadlines, illness and demanding real jobs” as the reason for the delay in a follow up series.
The first episodes were recorded live in early 2020, but after a delay caused by COVID-19, the rest of the episodes are recorded via video call.
Suttie said: “I’ve absolutely loved making this series of the podcast. I’ve learnt surprising things about my guests and myself, and I never could have predicted the twists and turns that each conversation would take. My mum, as ever, is under strict instruction not to listen.”
The new series launches on 15th July, you can listen here!
