Funny Women

Today we are launching our new regular podcast Musings, women in comedy talking comedy, hosted by Funny Women editor Kate Stone and producer Becky Singh. In this series, Becky and Kate will talk to some of their favourite women (and men) about their lives in comedy.

Becky says “There are loads of podcasts right now. Why should you listen to this one? Well, this episode is really, really long and that’s obviously good value. Also our guests are really cool.”

Kate says: “Now’s your chance to find out if my voice sounds like smooth caramel, cascading over gravel just as you always imagined or just a bit nasally.”

In episode one they eat pastries brought by their guest, rising star Esther Manito and talk about starting out in stand-up, nerves, being a mother on the comedy scene…

You can listen to Musings here! Musings is a Future Cat production, If you have any topic suggestions or comedians you’d like us to interview email us on editor@funnywomen.com.

Catch Esther’s show Crusade at VAULT Festival on 9th March, for tickets and more information click here!
