Anna Morris’s character comedy show Bombastic is based on the fictional cruise ship Bombastic which features in her opening scene. I have to tell you: About 10 minutes into Anna’s show I genuinely felt like I was on a cruise ship! Don’t mistake me; that is very much a compliment!

Anna is extremely skilled at creating flawless characters, each sketch gliding seamlessly into the next. You are immediately engrossed in the new character and situation that Anna presents you with, even as she continues to engage with the audience.

Bombastic is an hour show that flies by, even if you’re new to sketch comedy or it’s not your usual type of comedy you can’t help but enjoy yourself with this well written, perfectly executed and light-hearted fun – with a dash of feminist messaging peppered throughout for good luck!
