Diane Morgan has scored two Bafta nominations, Cunk on Shakespeare is up for Best Comedy or Comedy Entertainment programme – up against the show that introduced us to Philomena, Charlie Brooker’s 2016 Wipe, The Last Leg and Taskmaster.
Diane Morgan has also been nominated for Best Female Performance in a comedy show as Philomena Cunk. Mum’s Lesley Manville and Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Olivia Colman have also been nominated in this category.
Fleabag is up against Julia Davis’s Camping, Flowers and People Just Do Nothing for Best Scripted Comedy Programme.
This year’s Bafta Awards will be held at the Royal Festival Hall on 14th May with new host Sue Perkins, you can watch the ceremony on BBC One.
