This year Red Nose Day comedy celebrations has a real treat in store that will have you singing ‘reunited and it feeeeeeels so goooood’ because French and Saunders are joining forces again as a comedy duo to present part of this year’s Comic Relief telethon! This will be the first time French and Saunders have performed comedy together since 2007 when they bid us farewell with A Bucket o’ French and Saunders.

The Red Nose Day organisers say the telethon will be: “a mammoth night of live comedy, sketches, music moments, fundraising films and much much more on what promises to be TV’s most unpredictable night of raucous horseplay ever.”

French and Saunders will be joined by Miranda Hart, Sally Phillips, Lenny Henry, Joe Lycett, Warwick Davis, Jonathan Ross, Greg Davies and more. “The riotous revue will be bursting at the seams with comedy gems for everyone from eight to eighty to enjoy…”

If you can’t wait till Red Nose Day on the 24th of March there will be plenty of comedy on the run up to the big day, including Mel and Sue busting a move and cracking out a song for Let’s Sing and Dance. The producers say: “All this is just the beginning as much more merriment, mirth and mischief for the big night itself will be announced over the coming months as we get closer to the biggest and best party on the planet.”
