You might think that gallows humour is an odd subject for two young(ish, I mean, Parker is 29) women to choose as the focus of an hour of comedy, but armed with a spooky pianist, double act Norris & Parker return to the Edinburgh Fringe with their wild, dark comedy.
It’s so refreshing to see two women pushing boundaries and trying ridiculous concepts out that express what it is to be women in 2016 and – to paraphrase Amy Poehler – not fucking caring if you like it. Although you will like it. With sketches starring feminazis, mulleted detectives and Aussies in search of employees dedicated to good service this duo hits the mark with every character.
It is when they speak just as Norris and Parker though that they are at their funniest. This is a raucous show filled with great gags, songs about the fun of flat sharing with the lads, lads, lads and catsuits. They might sometimes be off key but they never fail to hit the mark.
