Agatha Raisin is back on our screens (provided we have the right Sky package…) on Sky one tonight! Ashley Jensen returns as the unorthodox sleuth hoping for a quiet life in the Cotswolds. Of course crime follows such characters (for plot reasons – not because they are criminals) and it’s not long before a walker is found dead on a local baronet’s land soon after he declares war on her rambling group for trespassing on his land. DUN DUN DUN.

Ashley Jensen told The Mirror that Agatha is: “a bit like everybody. She’s a terrible eater, drinks one glass of wine too many, has a terrible love life. She’s full of ups and downs and is all over the place.

It’s a great part for a woman. Hopefully we’re reaching a time where women can lead a series, now that we’ve got Happy Valley and Doctor Foster and so on.”

To solve the crime Agatha suggests she and James pose as a married couple and go undercover as ramblers. However this guise is hard to keep up in a small community ad James has recently begun a new relationship. When Agatha is violently warned off the case but the pair soldier on to solve the case.

Find out if they can find the killer tonight on Sky One at 9.00pm.
