It’s almost definitely summer now (yeah? yeah) and the Larmer Tree Festival has announced its 2016 comedy line up for 13th to 17th July. This year they are adding a brand new programme of Edinburgh Festival Fringe previews, on top of their late night comedy club on the ARC stage.

Joining the headlining comedians at Larmer Tree Festival this year are Funny Women Awards 2016 mentor Tiff Stevenson, Jen Brister and Laura Lexx. There will also be a live on-site recording of the Comedian’s Comedian Podcast. As well as performing stand-up at the festival, Stu Goldsmith will record a brand new episode for his brilliant series, which asks fellow comedians – including Tiff Stevenson – what makes them tick?

Festival goers will also be able to catch Edinburgh previews from Tiff’s fellow mentor Ellie Taylor, Sarah Callaghan and Maddy Anholt. Julia Safe, festival director commented: “We’ve created a brilliant opportunity for our Larmer Tree audience to get a sneak preview of nine shows which will be premiering at the Fringe. No need to travel all the way to Edinburgh, get a little taste at Larmer Tree!”
