A haughty princess and a daft clown, Lorna Shaw and Kathryn Bond respectively make up this incredibly talented double act. Finalists in the 2012 Funny Women Awards this show demonstrates how versatile and prolific they are as comic actors in terms of performance and new writing.  There are no recycled sketches from their previous Edinburgh show and although the formula is consistent they have developed new and hilarious material that ensures loyalty and keeps their audiences coming back for more.

Lorna parades through as a party prom princess without a secure portfolio of events to entertain kids.  She is aided and abetted by her hapless sidekick Kat who makes appearances as a maid servant, a pea and an apple with the aid of some hilarious hats and underpants.

Although this may sound clichéd, the interaction between them packs a comic punch with a heaping spoonful of pathos to smooth its delivery. Not trivial. Just very, very funny.

There are some wonderful double acts on the Fringe this year so if you aspire to this type of sketch comedy please put That Pair on your list.
