2012 Funny Women Awards finalist Viv Groskop is launching a new improv night Comedy Royale in the very classy cabaret venue St James Studio, featuring some of the best improvisers around.

The first outing of Comedy Royale is next week on Thursday 27th November and it's hosted by People People an improvised double act with Viv Groskop and award-winning comic actor Kerry Shale (Life’s Too Short, Red Dwarf).

Joining People People for the evening are Lloyd Simpson, a double act of two members of the Comedy Store Players, Grand Theft Impro and School of Night, who improvise – and, yes, we know this sounds impossible but they do it anyway – Chaucer and Shakespeare. So you can enjoy improv comedy and brush up on your literature!
