First they brought us Michelle Gomez as Heather in Heather's American Medicine and now Wildseed Studios have created an whole online comedy channel Wildseed Comedy

The channel will champion British comedy online and launched with a five part series ‘Staff Room’ starring newcomers Ryan McDermott and Adam Brown as well as Brian Capron (Coronation Street), Zoe Lister (Hollyoaks) and Pat Sharp (Funhouse).

Staff Room tells the story of teachers at a northern secondary school who are hiding out inside the school's safe haven and desperately trying to survive until 3.30pm, five days a week.

Wildseed Studios’ co-founder, Jesse Cleverly describes the new series as “A great script that’s well-paced, entertaining, and funny as hell”.

We are very excited to see more comedy on the channel from rathergood.com's Joel Veitch, 2012 Funny Women Awards Winner Gabby Best, comedy improviser Sammy Hutchison, YouTuber Paul Neafcy, Cofilmic Winner Nick Bowe, comedian Andy Needle, comedy maverick Harry Deansway and more.

Wildseed co-founder Miles Bullough says the new channel is: “The unstoppable progress of digital production and distribution technology allows us to fearlessly produce projects from a new generation of British comedy talent and to put those projects in front of audiences to consume when and where they want. We know the audience is looking for fresh original voices, and Wildseed Comedy has been designed to satisfy that need.”
