Lynn Ruth Miller has been a stand-up comedian longer than you've been alive and at nearly 80, she's finally pulling out all the stops!
From wowing the judges on Britain's Got Talent to scooping the prestigious TOAST (Time Out & Soho Theatre) Best Cabaret Act Award, Lynn Ruth Miller proves that age doesn't matter when it comes to delighting an audience. A stand-and-deliver American comic in the good old-fashion style, she tells it like it is using the blast furnace of her life to gently boil down the huge amount of experience in the crucible of her mind to leave us all with disarming golden nuggets that threaten our ideas of what is important and remind us that each precious moment is worth wringing every drop of life out of! After a hugely successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe – and a special appearance at Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival last month – Granny's Gone Wild makes its way to the Soho Theatre for a brief but unforgettable run.
“Fantastic routine!” – David Walliams, Britain's Got Talent
“You’ve a great spirit and you made me laugh,” – Alesha Dixon, Britain's Got Talent
"Ms Miller is a poster girl for growing old disgracefully." – Kate Copstick, The Scotsman
"It's hard to imagine anyone leaving without a smile on their face or a spring in their step." – Time Out
You can catch Granny's Gone Wild until 22nd March at 7.30pm at the Soho Theatre Downstairs . For more information and to book tickets, click here.
