In 2013, actress Alex(andra) Maher won Best Show at the Funny Women Awards with Group Therapy Session Show, Hope & Gloria. On Thursday 6th and Friday 7th of February, she'll be performing the show again for the last time at the Leicester Square Theatre.

Oddball therapist, Dr. Hope, is an Agony Aunt for the modern age, bringing her unique brand of practical advice to Britain for the very first time. Audience members get inside knowledge on her techniques and the opportunity to solve a few problems of their own. Whatever the issue, self-proclaimed legend Dr. Hope has the solution. It may not be the solution you want but it is most definitely the solution…

Praise for Hope & Gloria:

“So, so funny and so much fun. A fringe festival gem!” – Three Weeks ★★★★★

What the audiences said:

"Great show, not seen anything quite as creative as this all weekend!"

"This show starts like a trojan horse with a one-woman army of Dr. Hope! The show is a fantastic character comedy performance taking the audience through a session of therapy. See if: You like a laser guided therapist in your face, animal noises, raunchy knicker removal and finding out you're going to prison. Don't see if: You're boring, dull, a bit incontinent."

"Went along to this with a friend and we both giggled throughout at Dr Hope's honesty, brazenness and incredible i-n-t-u-i-t-i-o-n! Would be great to see a full therapy session, even in Gloria's absence. My friend really wanted to hold Karen…"

"Fabulous character comedy… fantastically funny and brilliantly good fun."

"A wonderfully hilarious stand up with tragic back drafts. Get yourself some serious Therapy… check in to Dr Hope and leave the Voodoo Rooms at the very least knowing how to take your underwear off without removing your trousers.. I tried it… it works for me!! 5 stars Can you do 6 Stars?????" ★★★★★
