Our very own Wedding Belle!

We’re hearing bells here in the office… Bow Bells?  Well almost but not quite as the virtual bells toll for our very own Funny Women Awards producer Isobel Matheson who, tomorrow, weds her beau (…get it?!) Max Brown, at Hackney Town Hall!

They are a lovely couple and we trust that they enjoy their 'big day' after the weeks of hard work they have put into producing a unique and wonderful celebration of their partnership.

There’s going to be a proper Cockney 'knees up' afterwards to celebrate the London nuptials too – in a  pub with music, pie and mash!  Well, that’s what we are imagining anyway. It will be lot more sophisticated than that to cater for the groom’s vegetarian palate.

The dresses have been sewn, the suits tailored, the flowers chosen, the hens sated, (and the stags, we presume!) and all’s ready for the off!  After running the Funny Women Awards this year with such aplomb, we wish Isobel an amazing, fun-filled day and all our very best wishes for married life!

You can tweet a wedding wish to Isobel @isobelmatheson.

Pictured: our fashion spies tell us that Isobel has chosen a 1950s theme for her outfit so this is our interpretation of what she might be wearing on the day! Watch this space for a snapshot of the real thing very soon!
