Today the heavens opened and the run of glorious sunshine that has blessed Edinburgh for the past two weeks has come to a thundering halt. Waking up to rain slapping your skylight silly with the ominous knowledge that the majority of your day will be spent outside is hardly a source of motivation!

However, today Funny Women at the Fringe is presenting its final specially curated showcase for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe! Determined not to let the rain spoil our celebration of female comedy, we invite the crowds of Edinburgh to come to the Bosco tent and see what today’s talented line up has in store for them!

Hosting today’s show will be the brilliant Sajeela Kershi, whose show ‘Regret-Me-Nots’ is currently running until Sunday 26th August at Laughing Horse, Espionage. Featuring in today’s show will be Liz Richardson, Gabriella Burnal and Croft & Pearce. Headlining today’s show will be our very own lara A king, whose show ‘People Pleaser’ begins its run at the Fringe tomorrow until Sunday 26th August at 2pm in the Bosco Tent, Assembly George Square Gardens.

With Funny Women at the Fringe coming to a close today, this also means that today will be the last day that you are able to visit the glamorous Benebus and the wonderful Benebabes from Benefit Cosmetics. So like our lovely acts from yesterday's showcase, Tiff, Aisling and Ellie, why not get yourself down to the Benebus, which is next to Assembly Box Office and experience why laughter is the best cosmetic!! Every ticket bought for today’s show will grant you one free Benefit mascara, just take it to the Benebus after the show where you will also be able to receive a make-upper from one of the Benebabes and try out all of the fantastic products on offer!!

Later on in the evening, Funny Women is off to the 'Forth Floor' at Harvey Nichols for our weekly cocktail hour, 8-9 pm, where we combine the world of comedy with mojito's and margarita's!

Tickets for today’s show are available on a 2 for 1 offer and can be bought from the Assembly Box Office!
