House of Fraser gets uncomfortably Emojinal

You’ll remember where you were on the morning of February 1st, 2016. It’s a turning point you’ll never forget. Today will go down in history as the day that House of Fraser’s Twitter account went completely bonkers. It’s been taken over by something called #Emojinal, a word and movement that seems to have been made […]

See more funny women on NBC

Two of our favourite leading ladies from the US have announced pilots for future broadcast on NBC. Both are from the cast of Parks & Rec: Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones. They’ll also each take up the ‘executive producer’ role for their shows. Amy’s comedy has yet to be given a name. (Feel free to […]

Work, fun? That’ll be the day…

It feels like every day is now ‘National Something Day’ or ‘International Something Else Day’. I’m getting a bit sick of them all, truth be told. Japan in particular is notorious for these days. It’s a dry January alright. No, I don’t mean outside. Our first week of 2016 has been characterised by near-constant rain. I haven’t left the house yet, mainly because I can’t swim. Also, there’s no way I’m going out there in a bikini. My goosebumps will have goosebumps. And before anyone gets incredulous, I haven’t […]
