Funny Women

We’ve announced our 2025 Funny Women Stage Award sponsored by BBC Studios Funny Parts finalists and now it’s time to share with you the comedians who made our 2025 Ones to Watch list!

The scoring for this year’s semi-finals was incredibly close. We were in the difficult but rather fantastic position of having to choose between 48 comedians and future stars.

The judges scores between each of our entrants were separated by such small margins and we felt the Ones to Watch should take a-lot of encouragement from their performances. Whilst not in the final this year we’ll be watching our Ones To Watch intently over the next year and can’t wait to showcase them within our events and showcases during, 2026.

And here are this year’s Funny Women Ones to Watch:

Courtney Buchner
Gabrielle McPherson
Elaine Robertson
Tej Dhutia
Gel Shitty
Soph Galustan
Sophie Morgan-Price
Selam Amare
Kate Sharp
Katie Hand
Sydney May
Breda Hegarty
Jen Nolan
Holly Ludlow
Beth Fox
Sophia Wren

We can’t wait to see what these talented comedians get up to in their comedy careers!

The Stage Award final is on Thursday 25th September at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London. You can buy your tickets here!
