Katherine Ryan

Comedy superstar and Funny Women awards winner of 2008 is set to launch her brand new podcast, What’s my age again?, a humorous take on ageing, wellness and self-discovery, on 22 April 2025.

Katherine’s new podcast will feature interviews with some of the UK’s most famous faces, who have all undergone a blood test to determine an accurate reflection of their biological age, as opposed to their chronological age. The results – often surprising, sometimes shocking – lead to hilarious and thought-provoking discussions about how we age. What does it really means to “feel your age”? Are they afraid of growing old, and what are the pros and cons of ageing and the quirky habits they have in the pursuit of health and longevity?

“In a beauty-obsessed society that rewards aesthetic youth, what about the far more impactful biological vitality? As a pretty clean-living autoimmune disease sufferer with loads of inflammation, I’m excited to be investigating cutting-edge technology that tests glycolic age with a mix of my celebrity friends. Are they biologically older or younger than they think they are? What can we all be doing differently to extend our lives? Who will be willing to give me their actual blood for a podcast?”

Katherine Ryan

In each weekly episode, Katherine and her guests will be joined by Dr Nichola Conlon, a specialist in longevity and cellular ageing, who will bring her scientific expertise to interpret each guests test results and share the latest research in the field of ageing.

The first episode sees Irish comedian and podcaster Joanne McNally taking the test; whilst future guests include Olivia Attwood, Adam Buxton, Jill Scott, Bryony Gordon, Dame Sheila Hancock, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Alastair Campbell and Dame Denise Lewis.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome What’s My Age Again? to our podcast family. Katherine has always had a unique ability to blend humour with meaningful conversation, and this podcast takes that to a whole new level. The concept of measuring glycolic age rather than biological age is groundbreaking, and with Katherine’s wit and her celebrity guests, we believe it will be an engaging, entertaining, and educational experience for listeners. It’s truly a perfect match, and I know listeners are going to love this innovative new show.”

Lucie Cave, Bauer Media Audio’s Chief Creative Officer

The podcast is set to premiere on all major platforms, including Rayo, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts, on April 22, 2025. You can subscribe now to catch the first episode. Katherine Ryan’s What’s My Age Again? is a must-listen for anyone curious about ageing, health, and how science can provide new ways of understanding ourselves – all wrapped up in Katherine Ryan’s unique comedic style.
