Catherine Tate first introduced the nation to her character Nan in 2004, since The Catherine Tate Show ended in 2006 we’ve only seen Nan in BBC specials, but now 18 years later she has her own film. Starring Tate alongside Matthew Horne as the foul-mouthed old lady’s grandson Jamie and Katherine Parkinson as Nan’s sister.
In The Nan Movie, the pair travel across the UK and Ireland looking to track down Nan’s estranged sister. In the trailer, released by Warner Bros. we see Nan seeking out bargain Jager bombs, walking away from a burning building, and demanding a breakfast Guinness.
