The BBC show Motherland, which stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Diana Morgan and Lucy Punch, is to be remade for an American audience.
Motherland is about a set of London mothers (and one dad) all struggling to balance the school run with the rest of their lives.
Currently in the early stages of development, according to Broadcast magazine, Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is working alongside Motherland writers Sharon Horgan and Holly Walsh. Horgan, Walsh and Clelia Mountford will executive produce the US version.
Grace and Frankie writer Julieanne Smolinski is attached to the US script, Smolinski previously worked on the US version of UK show Sirens.
