Happy Valentine’s Day! Today, our valentine is comedian, podcaster and writer Rosie Wilby who has given us her latest book cover reveal. Feast your eyes on The Breakup Monologues.

Published by Bloomsbury, the book features quotes and stories from Katy Brand, Sofie Hagen, Ayesha Hazarika, Sajeela Kershi, Rachel Creeger, Louise Leigh, Pippa Evans, Wendy Wason, Helen Thorn, Suzy Bennett, Elf Lyons, Sarah Bennetto, Maureen Younger, Carly Smallman, Kate Smurthwaite and many more female comics.

Viv Groskop says the book is: “Funny, sweet, entertaining, insightful, life-affirming… Rosie’s wisdom is balm for the soul for anyone who has ever been in love.”

Rosie Wilby said: “I’ve absolutely loved recording The Breakup Monologues podcast and then weaving the best bits of those revealing, insightful and hilarious conversations into a book telling the story of my own attempts to finally learn something from my breakup-littered past. Heartbreak is such a universal thing. Yet it’s often kept a bit secret. We hide ourselves away and lick our wounds. I hope that this book shows that the story we share with our friends and community after a separation is a vital part of our recovery. I guess the ‘proof in the pudding’ is that I am now engaged to be married!”

Rosie Wilby’s The Breakup Monologues will be published this Spring, preorder here!
