Funny Women

Funny Women founder, Lynne Parker, and 2019 Funny Women Stage Award winner, Laura Smyth are to feature in a brand new virtual business summit, She Has No Limits, on Thursday 24th September.

Three organisations – Thrive Law, Equal Talent and The Career Mum – have come together to create the new event under the banner of She Has No Limits and the one-day conference will bring together like-minded women to inspire, educate and support one another.

These organisations already work to coach, mentor and support working women and have joined forces to scale their efforts even further. The impact of COVID-19 has been enormous, and this conference aims to help women bounce back and continue to achieve their goals through these uncertain times.

‘I am delighted to be supporting this event,’ says Lynne Parker of Funny Women’s involvement. ‘A big part of our community outreach is empowering women to use humour in their professional and personal lives so I will be spotlighting some of our work in the virtual space during my workshop. We successfully pivoted our HERlarious events online over the last six months and planning more.’

As well as Lynne’s signature Stand Up to Stand Out workshop, delegates to the summit will be able to access two panel discussions, a choice of expert sessions, a keynote speaker, and an awards presentation, hosted by Laura Smyth. There will also be an exclusive performance from Lockdown social media sensation Quarantina Turner.

The event has attracted some impressive support and sponsorship from The Telegraph, Smart Pension, Currentbody and MHR who are all focused on creating a vibrant female business community with the She Has No Limits initiative.

The She Has No Limits conference takes place on Thursday 24th September. For more information and details of how to book visit click here!
