2014 Funny Women Awards winner Jayde Adams is set to pilot a new improvised hidden-camera TV on Comedy Central called Say Whaaat?, guest starring Russell Kane and featuring the stars of Impractical Jokes.

Devised by James ‘Murr’ Murray from Impractical Jokers, Joe Gatto, Brian Quinn and Sal Vulcano, known as the comedy troupe The Tenderloins will feature.

Comedy Central says the guests will “combine their improvisation skills with direction from the audience to voiceover secretly shot footage of everyday conversations.”

Comedy Central’s Louise Holmes said: “Improv is  a really hot scene in the UK right now, so developing an improv format with stars of this calibre is an exciting step for the channel.

“It’s part of our drive to explore more avenues to bring funny to our viewers as well as bring US and UK talent together.”

The pilot will be aired later this year and is to be filmed in front of a live audience at the Tabernacle Theatre in London.
