We’ve cleared our diaries, picked a venue and are inviting you for lunch at the Edinburgh Fringe. Funny Women Fest will provide you with a calorie-free, comedy full lunch at midday throughout the festival with interviews and highlights from the very best of the Fringe.

We will be spending our lunch hours with some of the most interesting and promising new acts at the festival, which is surely more exciting than that meal deal you’re clutching!

GildedB

We’ve got comedians, writers, TV stars, producers, directors and an endless supply of funny women from our very own Funny Women Awards and beyond to satisfy any comedy appetite.

We will be covering all bases – from getting the lowdown on how to do impressions with the multi-talented Jan Ravens, and political insights from Ayesha Hazarika, who are both bringing their own full length shows to the Gilded Balloon this year.  Plus guest appearances by lots of our favourites from the last 15 years.

As if that’s not enough, we are also returning to Fringe Central to resume our partnership with a Stand Up to Stand Out workshop on Saturday 12th August at 2.30pm and a panel discussion about Politics and Satire on Wednesday 16th August at 3.30pm hosted by Ayesha Hazarika.  Watch this space for more information, coming soon!
