Sightseers star Alice Lowe‘s film Prevenge has won the Monster Innovation Award at Australia’s cult film festival Monster Fest 2016. The comedy-horror tells the story of a pregnant woman who goes on a revenge killing spree, which usually wouldn’t suggest laughs a-plenty to us if Alice Lowe weren’t at the helm.

Prevenge was shot in just 11 days and was written, directed and starred in by a then pregnant Alice. The film also stars Funny Women Variety Award winner Gemma Whelan.
