Earlier this year Caitlin Moran revealed that she was in talks to remake Raised by Wolves across the pond in America, where she believed the premise might work well due to the higher rates of homeschooling and, uh, apocalypse-proofing. It has been confirmed on Twitter by Kenton Allen, Big Talk’s executive producer that there will be a US remake with Diablo Cody at the helm.

The semi-autobiographical script, written by the Moran sisters, will be adapted by Oscar winning Juno writer Diablo Cody and we can’t think of a better fit! The characters will be transported from the Midlands to the American mid-west and many of the same tropes will be maintained.

The show is being made by Warner Bros-based Berlanti Productions and co-executive produced by Greg Berlanti whose credits include Supergirl and The Flash.

Raised by Wolves star Helen Monks will be on the Good Ship Benefit with her Edinburgh preview Dolly Wants To Die on 11th July, for tickets click here!
