This Saturday we are at the Feminism in London conference, at the Institute of Education, with our Stand Up and Stand Out workshop.

Funny Women Player and 2012 Awards finalist Lucy Frederick will be facilitating at a Stand up to Stand out workshop for 12 to 18 year olds.

We will be helping our feminist teen participants to develop their skills and help them overcome performance butterflies. We believe our workshop helps people build their confidence in all kinds of public speaking by helping them explore their funny side, improve relationships and enhance their communication skills.

The workshop will kickstart inspiration, help resolve writer's block and get rid of any public speaking nerves.

The conference brings together a diverse range of feminist issues, and 1,000 delegates from the UK, and beyond. And it's open to All! Apart from a wide range of workshops on feminist issues, Feminism in London provides space for women's art, comedy, music, as well as quite space and a crèche! There is also a fabulous after party including a 70's feminist band's reunion, stand up comedy and spoken word!
