Well, we can’t ignore it any longer. We might have tried to deny that the nights are drawing in by shining SAD lamps desperately in our faces between 3.56pm to 7.55am (yes, the sun really does set at 3.56pm now), but it is less than a month to Christmas. So…. Funny Women are bringing you our very own Christmas gift guide!

Do you have a female friend or relative who wants a gift to ease their social conscience, but you don’t quite want to stretch to buying a goat for a village? Is that person also in touch with their own femininity and enjoys the finer things in life? YOU DO? Well, we’ve got the perfect gift for the ‘sexy hippy’ in your life.

‘Who Made Your Pants’ is a truly ground-breaking ethical company that not only makes gorgeous undies for women, but provides jobs for primarily refugee women in Southampton. Company founder Becky John’s twin passions for underwear and human rights led her to set up ‘Who Made Your Pants?’ in opposition to the awful manufacturing practices of sweat-shops in Asia, many of whose female workers are abused and exploited. Read more about Becky’s passion HERE.

With two sexy yet understated designs, the Aimee and Rosalind shorts come in a variety of colours and sizes from 8-18. Especially for Christmas they have a double set of pants The Holly and the Ivy’ for a super special price of £29. There are a number of gift bundles that can be bought for those lucky ladies in your life, but we highly recommend the Year of Pants option! For £21.50 per month you (or the gift recipient- yes you are buying for other people remember,) will receive a gorgeous pair of pants each month. You'll also be guaranteed to get new colours and styles as soon as they come off the machines. And there'll be an occasional additional surprise too!

Go on, you know you want to… It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
