'Tis the season for film festivals, so it seems! With Underwire Festival currently on-going, and the London Feminist Film Festival starting on Thursday 29th of November, you will not be at a loss for films made by women, films made for women and films made about women.
The London Feminist Film Festival kicks off with Lesbiana – A Parallel Revolution followed by a discussion panel with director Myriam Fougère, gay rights activist Linda Bellos, and lesbian feminist activist Julia Long, chaired by Femi Otitoju, with the Opening Party in the evening.
The in-depth documentaries and hard-hitting short films don't stop there, as topics covered throughout the four days span from racism and classism, to sexual harrassment and rape.
