Here at Funny Women we like to support acts that go the extra mile to hone their comedic skills.  Morris & Vyse, respectively Anna & Beth, reached the semi final stage of the 2009 Funny Women Awards (won by Miss London) and we've been proud to support them ever since.

So, we can't think of a better place you should be this Wednesday evening, 5th October, than at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, 8.00 pm for a few good laughs. Tickets just £7 (£6 concs).  BOOK NOW – you can email morrisandvyse@gmail.com for their limited guest list, but we're sure that if you say Funny Women sent you, you'll get in!

As if this isn't enough, this plucky pair are also launching a free sketch night. We've seen an amazing increase in the amount of sketch and character comedy taking part in the Funny Women Awards over the last two years since we launched our special Variety Award, so another platform for sketch comedy is welcome.

The first of these takes place on Thursday 13th October and features the brilliant Sara Pascoe, who was runner up in our 2008 Awards, as well as a host of other guests. Venue: Filthy Macnasty's in Amwell Street, near Kings Cross and Angel.

Good luck girls!
