I'm back! Apologies for my absence, but it has been a busy couple of weeks. Popped down to Devon to watch my niece in her dance show which of course was the best thing I have ever seen and she was the best and most beautiful dancer in the history of the world ever!

Was itching to get up and join in with the 'adult tappers' but as Marilyn the dance teacher said to me, 'You are always itching, you should scratch that itch!' She is right, of course. There is no age limit with tap, just fun to be had…maybe at the next show…. Marilyn used to teach me tap, ballet and majorettes until I was 9, I'm now 34 and she looks ever youthful and dances with grace I could only wish for (I do suspect that she has a portrait in her attic going grey and fading away….literary reference there). I can stretch further than Heat magazine you know…besides, the man in the film version was fit!

The day after the final show was Sunday, so we made my dad go and buy the last ever News of the World as Mum said people might shout 'scab' at him coming out of the corner shop.  I shall miss you Mystic Meg – (Editor’s note: obligatory joke -AM) She didn't see that one coming, mind!

I once appeared in the magazine supplement in a ‘Before and After’ diet piece. I was wearing tracksuit bottoms and grimacing for ‘before’ and in ‘after’ I had makeup on and nicer hair, therefore showcasing how much better my life was! So in a way, I'm kind of a part of history… I don't think they hacked my phone to see how I was getting on with my diet though…They can't touch me, because I normally order my pizza online anyway!
