So Daisy, could you tell us about your show?
BIG NIGHT OUT is a sketch show meets cabaret meets one wild party… Three alter egos. One night. Zero chill.
HÄNS OFF – Berghain-born VIP KlubKid – is dying to get past ze bouncer.
KAREN MOONSTONE – self-appointed spiritual guru – is trying to shut it all down.
STEVE PORTERS – Guildford’s finest iPod DJ and self-tight feminist – finally takes you under his wing to join the stag do.
Expect a FASHUN show, a complaining ceremony, flashmobs and DMCs in the little boys room… and maybe you might just become the main part. Come for the characters. Stay for the breakdown. Leave as someone else.

It’s the first time you’ve performed all three of your characters in one show – how are you feeling about that challenge, and how are the costume changes playing out?!
It IS the first time indeed. About time they all came out to the same party… !!
Jumping from one character to the next has been crazy fun, but I will admit this show is certainly the most ambitious yet. I’m working with costume designer of dreams Ryan Munroe and makeup artist/wizard Bow Face to make the transformations as smooth as possible! We’ve got a goatee stamp going on, tearaway costumes, all sorts happening!

How does it feel to be performing at the Fringe?
There is an energy at Edinburgh Fringe that is unmatched and indescribable… (okay fine, and unhinged!!!) I do love it more and more as I get to know the beast… I think mainly because you get to know the similar faces that go up every year. (I’m obsessed with anyone brave / stupid enough to say yes to the festival)
It’s certainly all consuming and overwhelming so I try to remind myself that I can’t do absolutely everything I want to…
Have you got any tips for comedians going up to the festival for the first time?
Don’t feel guilty on the days where you don’t have the mojo to see other shows and socialise. Embrace your slug days!! Smile at your fellow artists hustling on the streets, take one of their flyers and go see the shows that might not be selling so well. There are SO MANY GEMS to discover…
Who are some of the funny women you would recommend seeing in Edinburgh this year?
Elf Lyons. Lil Wenker. Alice Cockayne.
