Miranda Hart is taking her slapstickery to children’s TV with ten two minute episodes of a show called So Sammy for the Disney Channel.
So Sammy will launch on the Disney channel app this weekend and is about a tweenager vlogger, her mum who owns a party shop (sound…familiar?) and Sammy’s soon to be step brother. Miranda said: “I hope kids everywhere will be enchanted by lovely, funny Sammy who gets herself in to many silly scrapes and adventures, much to our delight.”
The show is aimed at kids aged between six and 12 and to be made by the production company King Bert, which was founded by Miranda, Jo Sargeant and David Walliams in 2014.
