On Sunday 20th November Labour women will be putting on a night of comedy, political poetry and some satirical music in aid of Labour Women’s Network and their work including their Women in Leadership Programme in memory of Jo Cox MP at The Cavendish Arms. Jo Cox was murdered on 16th June 2016 as she was about to hold a constituency surgery.
Ayesha Hazarika will be headlining, no doubt with more Tales from the Pink Bus. Jo Johnson will be performing some political poetry while Sarah Kerton will be singing her satire and Chloe Green will be performing socialist feminist comedy all hosted by Dannie Grufferty. There will also be a raffle, not just any raffle but a feminist raffle. We don’t know what that is but our feminist curiosity has been piqued.
Tickets are £10, for more information click here!
